Introduction to Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)

$65 (includes paddleboard, paddle, and lifejacket)

$45 (if you have your own equipment)

Lessons will be offered on Thursdays from June thru August as follows :

Course Overview: The Introduction to Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) course is designed to introduce/expose the participant to sufficient skill and knowledge so that they can enjoy the sport of Stand Up Paddleboarding on flat water. 

​

Minimum Equipment needed for the Class: Properly fitted PFD (personal floatation device), paddle, SUP, and appropriate clothing for the weather.   (SUP, Paddle, and PFD Rentals are available through Laketime Rentals and can be included in the price of the class at the time of registration)

  

A clothing list will be sent to all participants before the class.

Course Prerequisites: None 

Course Duration: 2 hours 

Course Location / Venue: Boggs Creek canyon, Lake Pueblo State Park

   (Calm, flat water, protected from wind, waves, outside boat traffic,  and within swimming distance of shore. 

Class Ratio - 5 students : 1 Instructor; with an additional instructor or qualified assistant the ratio can be 10 : 2

All lessons will be taught by an ACA Certified Instructor
